ASI 1600MM Pro failure

Hi,

last week in the middle of an imaging session (sequence in Autorun mode) my ASI 1600MM Pro stopped working suddenly.

With both the ASIAIR and my Linux laptop, the camera is recognized, cooling works but each time I try to run a capture I get the message "Exposure failed". Of course I tried to use a different USB cable, unfortunately without any success.

Is the camera dead, or is there something that I could try ?

Hi Dan,

Please try to test your camera in our ASIStudio software. Use another computer and test again. Also update your native drive and firmware.

On my computer I actually used ASIStudio software (latest version) and got "Exposure failed" each time (no drivers installed as it is a Linux computer).

I don't have another computer at hand however my ASIAIR gives me exactly the same behavior.

And, as I wrote in my previous message, it occurred as a sudden failure in the middle of an imaging session.

Rest of the story : my camera has been sent to you for repair three weeks ago, how long does will it take to get back the repaired camera ?

Sorry for the delay. Could you please tell us who did you contact with for the repair process? And did you send it directly to us or send it to the dealer?

I come back to you because, two months after my camera was sent to you for repair by the dealer, I haven't got it back yet.

The importer to my country (France) does not really help so I'm wondering whether you could do something for me.
