Issue with back to back "GOTO"s (Gen 1)

Hello everyone!

I have the gen1 unit.

The issue I have is this, when I GOTO an object, it's fine. For the first "GOTO"

One shot-plate solve (2-3seconds)-not centered-move-one shot-plate solve(2-3sec)-centered!

NOW when I GOTO the next object, it will go to it-one shot-plate solve and it hangs ups. The timer will go on indefinitely. I've let it go 200+seconds just to see.

The only way to get it to go to that object is to command the mount "home" unplug the unit and re-start.

Then I GOTO that intended object and it's does the centering routine perfectly.

I did not have this issue last year. At some point this spring, summer when I got back into imaging, there was a firmware update which completed correctly and this issue has been around ever since.

Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe a fix is coming in the 1.5 with autofocus!! Fingers crossed for soon!

Hi Ryan, which mount are you using? The 1.5 is coming, at that time you can upload the runtime log file.

Okay, first at all, please ensure the power supply of your mount is enough, btw, 'Atlas EQ6' I did not find any model name, is it Orion EQ-G Atlas or SkyWatcher Pro Series EQ6? Anyway, since it's EQ mode, I think you are on the EQMOD way, right?

The v1.5 planned to release a public version in this month.

Bummer. I get how software testing goes but sad it's delayed another month.

Hmmm, EQMOD almost the most stable support connection and working way on ASIAIR. Did you power up the mount at ZERO POSITION?

If you are on Android I will send you the beta version for debuging.

Yes. I always power up at Home position. And after the first GOTO I command the mount to go home before I cycle the power.

I use apple product. So no Android.
