I downloaded and installed new version of ASI Studio V1.2. I don't know if this is a problem with the new version, but last night, I tried it out ASI Live V1.2 and during acquisition, everything seemed ok. However, today, when I went to open saved image files, the FIT files were corrupted. The jpg files save at the same time were ok. Files attached.
A separate issue I have had problems with is large gradient associated with camera (rotated with camera). My darks, collected offline with cap over camera appear normal. However, whenever I tried subtracting off with dark files during acquisition, the image is noticeably red. Histogram from red trace is much broader. I also tried saving these files, but had same issue with corrupted FIT files last night.
Any help much appreciated.
ps. I tried attaching fit files but it gives error message. "Invalid file extension: Light_Stack_36frames_M20 Trifid Nebula_2sec_Bin1_-4.9C_gain390_2020-08-29_210000.fit"
So I converted to jpg files and attached.
