For some time now I have been seeing considerable amp glow in my subs when stretching them after stacking them. I capture images at -20°C.. The exposures are usually 60 or 120 secs. I also feel that the noise is greater than I would expect. I don't use darks and maybe I should. But when I did use them, I didn't see a significant change.
My camera came loose and fell onto pavement. It keeps reporting that it achieves -20°C so I assumed it was fine.
I had a friend process some of my images and he mentioned that the amp glow and noise were high.
How can I check if the camera is operating at spec?
