Mount continued tracking after Autorun

I think I have an ASIAir bug

Following a sequence of 24 times 600 shots.

I set the Autorun for 24 shots starting at almost midnight.

I set ASIAir to turn off at the end of the run, which it did. I did not set auto return to home position.

This morning the mount is still tracking, telescope is horizonal or lower, facing WNW.

I have no damage, but I am not confident to leave the ASIAir to complete an Autorun unattended if there is a problem.

I can try a short Autorun again tonight to see if the mount stops tracking when ASIair stops.

Is this a known issue ?

Mount is SW EQ6 pro with Esprit 100, new ASIAir Pro.

Hey Sir, are you on the EQMOD way? We recommended using the EQMOD, the SynScan HC has some bugs. Many users are using EQMOD without isuues.

Yes, I use EQMOD between AsiAir and the mount. No handset

No problem ever with this.

What happens is I set an Autorun which finishes for example at 4.00 am

With AsiAir set to Goto Home and then Shutdown, all goes well, the mount stps tracking, all is calm but dew heaters also go off.

With ASIAIR set to Goto Home, no Shutdown, the mount kept tracking until I intercepted it before damage at 7.30am but the dew heaters are off so a very wet ASIAir.

Now I set home and shutdown for each autorun and I have re-routed my dew heaters so that they are fed directly, not via AsiAir and never go off. This means the telescope correctly is aligned, the camera cooling fan is off, tracking has stopped and I have no dew on the tube. I have made a flexible dew cover for the electronics and cameras and this helps too.

I would recommend that you allow Stop Tracking as an option for the Shutdown selection.

Okay, based on your desc, it's a bug, we will check and fix it on EQMOD.
