Problems with autoguiding because the star is jumping away

Hi!

I have a big problem with the autoguiding function. I always have the problem that the star jumps away because the mount moves on purpose. Sometimes this happens during calibration, sometimes the autoguiding has been going on for a while with quite good results. Then the mount jumps in several directions and it loses the star.

- The mount is in balance.

- I have the ZWO OAG

- I use the ASI120MM Mini as a guidingcam.

- I use a SkyWatcher AZ-EQ6 mount

- I tried three different cables between ASI120MM mini and ASIAIR

- Restarting ASIAIR and Mount does not help

I read in someone else's ASIAIR Facebook group that he has the same problem, also with an AZ-EQ6. Could this be a bug?

It's a known bug, we will fix it in v1.5

Any ideas what I can do until the 1.5 update to use it anyway? Sometimes I could work with it all night long.

I have the feeling that it works better if I select fainter stars for guiding.

When will this version be released? I am also having this issue and it’s very frustrating to lose 5min subs with 5 seconds left. It’s unpredictable behavior and leads to about 25% sub loss.
