ASI294 MC Pro Stopped cooling

My camera is only 3 weeks old.

ASI294 MC Pro Stopped cooling.

Using APT with an ASI294MC Pro.

Camera Driver v3.0.0.10 & ascom driver v1.0.4.5.

I've tried with AC to 12V -DC power adapter(10A).

Connecting via ASCOM & Direct.

The camera is plugged directly into the PC with USB3.0 cable.

Cooling to -15C from room temp of around 20C.

The cooling stopped working at -5C & cooling time is very long(about 15~20min).

* Using MaximDL with ASI294MC Pro

Cooling to -15C from room temp of around 22C. -> no problem. cooling time is about 5min.

Please test your camera in our own ASIStudio software, and update the latest camera driver from our website.

My 1600MMC refused to go below -5 yesterday.

When i checked, the cooling fan didn't work and the camera itself was warm.

After reading up about it i opened up the rear and simply reconnected the power connector for the fan. Now it works like a champ again.

Might be worth a check.

increase the cooling step to 7-10 degrees,

the temperature goes down.
