are drivers required with FireCapture?

I'm slowly getting back into astrophoto after a break of a few years.

I'm playing with ASI224MC and FireCapture 2.7 beta on my Win10 laptop. I connected the camera, launched FC, and it just worked. No problems.

I'm pretty sure I have not installed any ASI drivers on this (relatively new) laptop. Are drivers not required? I seem to remember I had to install some drivers years ago.

Yes, you need install the camera driver when using ASI cameras. Maybe you can contact to the support of FireCapture.
