I've been clouded out, but wondering if anyone has tried the video feature on the new beta with any planetary imaging? I am not sure what the various settings (e.g., 480p) mean. Resolution? FPS?
Crossposted on he FB page.

Hi, Steve.
I have some experience with video. I haven't done any planetary imaging in the past until 1.5 version came out. So far I like it. Don't know if there is any important feature missing. You probably know what gain and exposure are for. 240 - 1080 settings are resolution or crop factor more precisely. If you have planet you should use 240 or 480, for lunar you can use higher resolution. I bet developers will refine and improve video feature in the future. This year is great for planet imaging.

Thanks, Andrej. Looks like a reasonable forecast for tonight, so I am going to give it a whirl.
I am looking forward to release of v1.5 to the public. Any idea when this might happen?
Thanks,
Tom
Has the beta test of v1.5 been successful? I am unable to use my ASIAIR Pro without it. I was promised release in September, It didn't happen. Winter is approaching here in South Dakota and I would like to use my Pro before the snow flies.
Please Advise
