power question

Just bought a new 2600. When I turn off the power in ASIStudio the red LCD still remains on and even if I turn off the power to the camera the LCD still remains on, but dimmer. Should I disconnect the power cable when finished? When I disconnect the power table, the LCD of course goes off.

Hi Ernie,

You may misunderstand one thing, the ASI2600MC Pro was connected to the ASIStudio via USB cable instead of power cable. And it was powered by an extra power supply. So the red light will still remains on when you disconnect the camera in ASIStudio. So it does not matter whether you disconnect the power cable.
