Another question but this time on Goto Home position (under the telescope/mount section in the App).
So the mount that I use is the Explorer Scientific iEXOS 100, the mount is connected via ASI Air pro. It slews using the manual controls, go to objects in library works, I've even polar aligned and guided on one occasion but that was questionable.
As I believe the home position is set as the position when the mount is connected and the motors are powered running i.e. the motors start counting position from when it is powered (I may not be explaining this well).
Therefore after any slewing in RA and DA or PA and then taking subs, if I press goto home ASI Air will send the mount back to its initial starting position.
Unfortunately this doesn't happen....
After polar alignment or guiding, if I select goto Home, the mount goes to a completely different position.
Note: I haven't tried only plate solving > goto object > goto Home
The only time when I can get the mount to go to its initial start position is...after power up, take couple of previews, slew manually (randomly) and then select Goto home.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
