Simulation Mode in ASIAIR Pro

Hello,

Not sure if requested previously, but search didn't show up anything.

Is there any plans for adding a simulation mode in ASIAIR pro.

This might be good for newbies or for Users on bad weather days to practice Polar Alignment or test if all equipment is working in harmony and is set up correctly from the comfort of indoors such as guiding etc etc..

Just a thought...

Hi - that will be awesome! I am struggling to learn the ropes and no clear skies to practice.
I have the StarAdventurer and AsiAir P question: How do you proceed to the next step in Polar Aligning after the first plate solve is completed? AAP instructs to slew the RA axis the 60 degs needed but is not reading my manually
executed rotation of 60 d. I can only "Cancel" as it sits there and seconds are counting while the angle reading stays at 0. The SA Mount is set to the "On camera ST4." What am I doing wrong? Bad ST4 wire?, missing a step or two during the setup? Any help appreciated.

You have some answer in other posts about issues with Star Adventurer...
I think they only connect the SA after the PA is done. Manually rotating the mount.
SO ASIAir when starting page shows, should not have a mount selected.

Only after PA is completed you connect the ASIAIr to the mount, go into the Mount tab to select and connect your SA then...

If I remember correctly... but you'd better find the right post.

Hi ZWO,
How far away time wise is the ASIAIR PLUS Simulation program. I am a new user of the Asiair and I realize that I need a lot of practice before feeling familiar to the program. Clear skies is just a wish and you need experience to run Asiair with a good result.
Pls give your advice.
