Gain settings for ASI385

The manual for the ASI385 shows a step improvement in read noise at a gain of 60. This is shown on a graph with a maximum value of 350. In both ASIStudio and Firecapture the maximum gain setting available is 600. In order to ensure that I work above the step improvement in read noise do I have to set the gain above 60 or a pro rata value of 103 ie 60x600/350?

Hi I found my own answer. The step improvement in read noise is when the gain is set above 60 in the image capture software. The graph in the manual just doesn't show the full range of gain. I found this out by using Sharp Caps analysis tool which measures the read noise directly.
