ASI6200MM - Cannot keep cooler running when camera is disconnected from software

I am using a new ASI6200MM with MaxIm DL and TheSkyX. When using other manufacturers' cameras with these programs I am able to keep the cooler running when the camera is temporarily disconnected. TheSkyX even has a checkbox where a user can indicate if they want the cooler to stay when disconnected. Is this just not supported in ASI drivers? I have this problem with both native and ASCOM drivers in TheSkyX and ASCOM in MaxIm DL. It is common to temporarily disconnect and reconnect for various reasons.

Yes, I have the same problem. It seems that when reconnecting, the cooler reverts to a gradual increase from zero power. The result is that the camera actually warms up until the power level gradually increases and restores the desired level of cooling. It is a bit of a nuisance
