I've had reasonable success guiding my 10" LX200 (reduced to F6.3 = 1600mm) using a 280mm guidescope with an ASI 120 mono camera. I image using an ASI224 colour. I decided to check out off axis guiding to eliminate any differential flexure and am in the process of setting it up. I have the cameras set up in the same configuration, 224 as imager, 120 as guider. My immediate issue is getting both cameras anywhere near a concurrent focus. Operating in daylight and focussing on a distant target, I can get one or other camera to focus, but not together. The difference in focal points seems to be quite significant and beyond what's available by sliding the prism in/out the OAG body or in/out the camera holder. Is the back focus of the 224 colour and the 120 mono that different? Or is there something I'm missing?
