ASI6200 not connecting in Maxim

I have ZWO_ASI_Camera_ASCOM and ZWO_ASI_Camera_Driver installed for my ASI6200 but Maxim DL (v6) is not seeing it when I try to connect. I also downloaded the latest ASCOM version from the ZWO website. The strange thing is when I first installed the above I was able to connect but the next time I tried, which was in the field, it did not and hasn't since.
I tried an uninstall/reinstall of both. The only thing I'm aware of that changed was a Windows update but a system restore to the prior version didn't help either. The message I'm getting is the equivalent of "No ASI camera detected" when I drill down from Setup Camera->set Camera Model to ASCOM and click Advanced and ZWO doesn't show up in the drop down. Selecting ASI Camera(1) and clicking on Properties gets me the error message.

Not sure if this is related but I determined that I needed to turn off MaxIm's threading options on the camera setup. These settings created all kinds of lock ups and crashes. There are other things the ZWO ASCOM driver doesn't do well in MaxIm... e.g. I found I cannot open the Camera Settings in the camera-1 tab. If I do, nothing happens (no settings dialog comes up). ...but then not too much later MaxIm DL will crash. The MaxIm DL folks say this an issue with the ZWO ASCOM drivers. Lastly, I started plugging my guide camera directly into the computer rather than thru the 6200MM's hub. I might try going back into the hub just to see if that is still an issue now that I've turned threading off. So, in summary: 1) turn threading off, 2) never press the Settings button the camera-1 tab, 3) possibly plug your guide camera into the computer and not the 6200MM's hub.

Thanks. I'm not familiar with a threading option under camera setup. You're talking about the Camera Control panel?
Maxim doesn't get as far as connecting the guide cam. It hits cam 1 and doesn't find it. End of story. Bummer that Maxim and ZWO are not on good terms! I was delighted that on my first try everything worked smoothly - indoors. Then this when I'm hooked up and ready to shoot. :-(

Were you able to get any hint or manage MaximDL to connect to the ASI6200?

Hi, any solution for this? Luckily I have not yet bought the camera, but I use Maxim with ACP/Expert Scheduler.
This is a show stopper for me.
I downloaded the driver, installed it, and it does not show up in the Maxim setup window.
Am I the third person to see the problem?
