Yes, it was always OFF.
Remember: The problem is : when you press on the exposure button in the app, the camera don’t have any reaction at fist. It will wait 12 seconds and then will start the exposure. That’s a quite long delay, especially if your use the app for PA or focusing. When connected with the Nikon Z6II, the ASIAIR is laggy and add a delay of 12 seconds on every exposure regardless of mode you are using (focus, autorun,preview…).
As ZWO is paying attention to this problem now, if any other Z6II users are experiencing the same behavior, I suggest them to not hesitate to test their Z6II, send logs and post here about that issue !
We have to put them under neutron-star like pressure if we want them to fix this !
