As a long-time fan of LIVE (stacking) mode, I have in the past suggested (via FB) some potential additions. These were mainly along the ideas of rejecting frames that the ASIAIR may detect as having clouds or satellite passes etc. This may for may not be even possible - but today, I'm suggesting a really easy one 🙂
When running LIVE mode, I always select save individual frames. This gives me the fallback position of post-stacking (via DSS or similar). But as I go, I'm simply using the 'Stack_ ..' saved images more often.
So, would it be possible to select (in LIVE settings), so export the Stacked image every 'n' frames?
Maybe a user-selected option list of 5, 10, 50, 100 ..
My reasoning is that, as I get close to the end of a LIVE session, I periodically export the Stack until I detect that a neighbouring building (W) or roof (E) intrudes into frame. Alas, sometimes I'm a little late and ruin a large portion of the LIVE stacked image due to 1 or 2 intruded frames .. and then have to retreat to the individual frames and DSS.
