Hi,
in few days I'll receive my new ASI 294 MM-pro (actually I have an ASI 1600 MM-Pro). Some questions:

With a largest FWC is advisable to do longest exposure (example 600")?
The best Gain setting is 120?
With a Gain setting of 120 (in case) is correct the RON value of 1.2e?
Bias frames are necessary or not?

Hi Vittorio,

Did you have an answer regarding the need to do bias frames with the new camera 294 mm? I have the same concern.
It seems that the 294 has a very constant level between pixels in a master Bias, so maybe just need to soustract a global constant value if necessary.
I don't have yet my 294 mm (soon), so I can't check.
