I've owned an Astro-Physics Mach1 mount since 2009 and have always autoguided this and previous mounts via the ST-4 interface. In fact, my first autoguider was an SBIG ST-4. Currently I use an ASIAIR Pro and would like to enjoy all the possibilities the ASIAIR features. Everything works properly (the new autofocusing feature is excellent!) but I'm experiencing difficulties with 'guiding through the mount' via the USB to RS232 cable. A lot of subs turn out to be useless due to slight guiding errors. The guide graphs look proper, but at the start of a new exposure an unexpected large guide-correction is made causing hiccups in the graphs (sometimes DEC, other times RA) and therefore guiding errors. I've read users of other mounts also experience this behaviour since the latest release of the app (V1.5 - FW 6.76), so it might be a bug.
Whether it's a bug or not, I would like to reach out to other users of the Mach1 and ASIAIR Pro to ask which version of the INDI driver from the pull-down menu in the app works for them. @pogo?

My Mach1 is equipped with a GTO3 drive, but only the GTO2 driver works for me. The ASIAIR cannot make a connection with the mount when selecting the GTO3/4 driver. Neither with the Legacy driver. With the GTO2 driver there's no option to select the guide rate. It seems to me that is rather important information to 'tell' to the ASIAIR.
I also would like to ask which USB to RS232 cable (brand/type) owners of a Mach1 and ASIAIR Pro use. I've now ordered an example with an FTDI chip set as recommend by Astro-Physics.
An ideal solution for me would be to be able to use the ST-4 interface on the guidecamera for guiding and the USB to RS232 interface simultaneously for communicating with the mount for pointing (GoTo), plate solving, auto meridian flips and parking the mount to the home position after the sequence is done.
