Hi
In the settings menu for autoguiding there are 3 parameters, Calibration steps, max ra and dec duration. These are set to 2000ms at the moment by default but I have read somewhere that values of 500, and 2x300 are recommended. However no explanation of why these values are preferred is given. Can someone explain what these refer to and the underlying process behind their use?
