Follow up: read on another post the following comments/suggestions:
1) You had earlier mentioned that your DEC Mode was set to Auto. Did you try @keramos 's suggestion (what he circled in red), and turn DEC Mode to Off? As far as I can tell, DEC Mode has to do with Autoguide Pulses, whereas RA Only has to do with Dither Pulses. Turning DEC Mode Off might fool ASIAIR into ignoring DEC errors when waiting for a dither movement to settle. If it does not, there is a bug in ASIAIR's code. Chen
2) Someone had mention that dither works for a mount that has no DEC motor [like the SkyGuider Pro] after a precise Polar Aligment [which I cannot do with the ASIAir, only with the iPolar]. That probably has to do with the fact that the DEC axis has not drifted yet outside the settling distance. Eventually it will probably drift enough and dither might fail too :-). I am guessing that if you were to go into the Guide window and clear the guide graph (thus clearing the guide errors) [which I have done] once RA has also settled after a dither movement, autoguiding might resume again [not in my case]. But that is not a solution, just a diagnosis of the problem. Anyhow, try first turning DEC Mode off to see if it cures your problem [I did and it didn't fix the problem]. Chen
3) OK, it is an ASIAIR bug then; there needs to be a mechanism to ignore DEC errors after a dither movement. Did ZWO respond to any of your queries? Chen
Yes, looks like an ASIAir bug.
