I have the subject filter wheel and it was slipping quite often, particularly when returning to the first position. I was getting the error to check if it is loose or blocked. I checked with the back cover off so I could watch and it does look like it slipped. I realized I had the 4 filters in slots 1-4 so all the weight was on one side. So I re-inserted the filters in every other slot and I have not been able to duplicate the issue so it looks like it is solved.
I just wanted to check and see if this sounds right to you guys. I was a little surprised it was that susceptible to imbalance, but these 2" filters are pretty large. I want to make sure I'm not just masking a real issue with my filter wheel that could crop up later. My last filter wheel was 5 pos and with 4 filters I never encountered this issue. There is no way I can see to tighten the carousel as the center pin does not have a slot. Any thoughts? Thanks.
