I am not the consummate authority on this, but I do have an EAF. I don’t think its the EAF that does not match, but perhaps the bracket, which is included. It is not clear from the photo, that you have a friendly hand-focusing unit (the black part with the word “Patent”) on it. There needs to be a place to screw it in. If worst came to worst, maybe you could use zip-ties to brace the EAF unit.
