ASI2600MC Pro files will not download

I have asked about this on many different forums and no one has answered. I have a 2600MC Pro connected DIRECTLY to a laptop with a USB3 cable. The files will not download to the laptop. I have tried different cables and different ports on the laptop but the software just hangs. I have waited up to 15 minutes for a single file to download. I now believe it is a DEFECTIVE 2600MC pro as there is no other explanation. People have said change the cable or connect directly to the laptop or try a different port or slow the Transfer Rate to 40, all of which I have done. Any suggestions would be appreciated or else I guess I should return the 2600 as defective. Thank you.

Can you get the FPS in the ASIstudio（ASicap）

Do you have some other ASI camera that can be test？

@tech@zwo#41820 I have the 2600 and a 290MM Mini for guide camera that works fine. I have a MAC but my new ACER laptop is the one I must use. What frame size should I test to get you the fps value? Do you want me to test at full size, uncropped? Did your Facebook person send you the images from the three programs that all will not download? I tried to upload JPGS to this forum and your system told me I had to upload JPGS, which I was doing. Is there an email address I can send them to so you can see what the problem is? And what could possibly be wrong with the laptop when I can do a preview in all three programs but when I actually try to capture the data to the hard drive it fails. Why would this occur? The USB connection is fine and the power supply is fine...

the 2600MC and 290MM works fine on MAC not on the new ACER，right？

Please let me know if there is anything else you want me to test as it takes some time to set everything up to use the camera. Thank you.

Hello. I checked the fps and it is between 3 and 4 fps during review as I expected using the full size of the frame. Please let me know if there is any setting or option under Windows that might enable and allow downloading to my laptop. Perhaps you can consult with a high level Windows programmer to determine a possible solution to this issue. Thank you again.

The ASI6200MCpro I just purchased also hangs up the software(SharpCap) before getting the images in most cases. I have not had such problems with the ASI6200MMpro.

@tech@zwo#41854 I sent images showing the download problem in all three applications inc ASI Studio to your Facebook representative who said she would forward them to the Support team. . The ATTACH PHOTO icon in this forum (below) does not open a File menu for me to submit anything (it appears to be a bug). Please explain this issue to your senior most Windows specialist. Thank you. <== this is the code that a is written into my text message when I try to submit a picture with my message. Very frustrating.

I am seeing the same issue with downloading files from my new 2600MC Pro. Most of the time the images download with no issue, but at times they do not. I have seen this issue on different computers with different cables. My 294MC pro and 290 mini do not have this issue.

dflippo Same here. I'm using NINA and it connects to my 2600MC Pro successfully. And when I start the exposure it counts down just fine until it's ready to download the image to my PC and then it fails. I think these are ASCOM errors messages I'm getting. I've tried everything I can think of an no luck. But yet this same camera works flawlessly with my ASI Air Pro. I'm thinking it's a driver issue, but yet I see my 2600MC Pro in Device Mgr and it says the device is operating correctly. So I'm at a loss as to what's going on.

I have noticed that this happens more often with binned images, at least in Sequence Generator Pro using the ASCOM driver.

dflippo Is there some way NOT to use binning? I thought it was either 1x1 or 2x2...

I logged a ticket directly with ZWO regarding this issue. i think it's either a problem with the SDK or the Driver itself. I've noticed a strange note in my Device Manager talking about one part of the driver has not been installed completely. Yet windows says the driver is installed an operating correctly. It does see it as the 2600MC Pro. And it connects to the camera using both NINA and ASICAP. I actually use the deep sky imaging portion but it connects to the camera. And it starts the exposure. But right as it finishes the exposure it throws the error. I thought maybe it might be a permissions issue, but I gave the entire file Read and write capabilities and it still does not work. I've sent screen shots of the error msgs. A lot of Code. I'll try and attach a file for others to look at.
