Guiding at 1 x siderial rate.

I have recently received a new A//P Mach2 GTO which is specified to guide at 1x siderial rate.
So far I have not found the guiding rate of the ASIair to be anything other than .5 siderial.

Also It took me quite a while to discover the proper connection setting for the Mach2 mount is not the setting that would appear to be the one most likely " Astro Physics CP3 & CP4 " which it doesn't connect with.

It does however immediately connect to the setting named " Astro Physics CP2 "
It would help owners of the A/P Mach2 mount if the " Astro Physics CP2 " named setting file where changed to include the " CP5 " after the CP2.

Yes, I discovered it by accident too. Did you also have to connect it to the ASI air using both the USB.serial and wifi at the same time?

I am still having difficulty trying to use my Asro-Physics Mach2 CP5 mount with the guide rate of 1x siderial to the ASIair pro and get it to calibrate for guiding. Since my previous inquiry I happened across a post by someone with a Astro-Physics mount that includes photos of the ASIair mount config window showing multiple selections including .5 .75, and 1x guiding. Since I find no selections for guide speed on the ASIair CP2 setting I can only assume those guide speed selections are on the CP3/4 mount setting.

I respectfully request you have your software development team check this out and if possible update the app to include the guide speed selections for the A-P Mach2 CP5 mount. Without that modification I am unable to set up the Mach2 mount for guiding with the ASIair Pro without using my Laptop to run the APV2 ASCOM driver to set the mount to guide at 0.5 sidereal to match the speed I have available in the ASIair Pro, which defeats the ability to run the ASIair Pro without using a computer.

Few people requested about this CP5. I suggest you send a mail to our asiair team to urge this.

It would be very nice to the the asi pro work well with the cp5 of the Mach2. ASI team please do something.
