ASIAir Pro problem, or cameras?

I have an ASI071mc and a ASI120mc-s. BOTH cameras only give me a white screen like this. I have the ASIAir Pro and the ASI EAF to focus. I looked through my telescope and I saw the tree I wanted to focus on. I never see it through ASIAir Pro. I only get the white screen.

What is wrong? Thanks.

Your exposure of 10 seconds is far to high for a daylight scene. In daylight reduce it to about 0.1 seconds. You will still need to find focus as the focus point for an eyepiece is different to a camera.

Hi Danshep,

Did you ever get a resolution to this problem? Ive been visually oblerving for 20+ years but a newbie to imaging.
I have a TeleVue85 (600mm, f7) and new ASIAir Pro ,ASI cameras and cannot resolve any stars for plate solve or PA. I tried to site in terresterally also and only got white screen.

I suspect that I need to to add a .8x reducer to get a star in focus but thats sveral hundred dollar experiment and Im getting limited input from ZWO.
On all the YouTube videos for the AAPro the process and camera interface seemed seamless, but most seemed to have SpaceCat,RedCat OTA's which I think have built in reducers.
I hope you got your issue worked out and any thoughts are appreciated in advance.

dfinchermd As zuts above mentioned, to use your Astrophotography camera on the daytime you need to set an exposure time in fractions of a second or you will completely saturated the sensor (ie completely white screen). Set the exposure to .001 or .01 seconds then increase incrementally if it’s too dark. To see stars at nighttime, depending on your gain seeing, you should be ok with something between 2-5 seconds. Obviously once you have found and framed your deep sky target you’ll want to set a much higher exposure time, take many shots, then stack them, etc.
