AIR Pro and Nikon D7100 set up

I just got a ASIAir Pro and ASIAIR Shutter Release N3 for connection to my Nikon D7100.

After wiring up the ASIAIR Pro and the D7100 with the N3 cable and installed the ASI Studio on my tablet, the app can not find the D7100. I followed the instructions to set the D7100 in M mode, BULB shutter speed, noise reduction turned off etc.... Are there any specific setting on the camera, ASIAIR Pro or the Studio app I needed to configure to recognize the camera as the main camera. Supposedly it was tested based on the manual.

What about firmware upgraded needed for D7100? I had already upgrade ASIAIR firmware the first time Studio started.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Is the N3 the correct cable to use or do I need an USB connection from ASIAIR to D7100?

allee8285 with Nikon D90 I use both: usb to control and read the photo and the other to drive the shutter

Reading the documentation, d7100 should work with usb only

Thank you. After putting the usb cable ASIAir found the camera and the shutter release cable works as well.
