ASIAIR PRO not recognizing Sky-Watcher AZ EQ6 GT Mount

My ASIAIR Pro has latest software, recognizes the main camera (ASI533MC), the Guide Camera (ASI120MM-S), and the EAF Focuser, but the AZ EQ6 GT Sky-Watcher mount does not show up in the ASIAIR Pro pull down Mount list. The pull down list does contain the following:
Skywatcher Virtuoso Alt-Az
Takahashi Temma 2
Vixen Skysensor 2000 PC
Vixen Starbook

I have attempted to see the mount with it configured with the initialized Handheld Controller and in the configuration without the Handheld controller using only the EQMod cable direct to the mount from the ASIAIR Pro.

Any idea what causes this problem or how to solve the issue and see this mount in the Mount pull down listing?

Assuming you don’t use the handset, the cable should be an EQMOD cable. You can plug it into the handset socket ON THE MOUNT. In the ASIAir Pro program, select EQMOD Mount and set baud at 115200.

To set those you will probably have to go to the first screen, where there is a green ENTER button at the bottom.

Here lies the problem...
The cable I am using is the EQMOD cable for this SkyWatcher mount and it is plugged into the handset (HAND CONTROL) socket on the AZ EQ6 GT Mount. The USB end of the EQMOD cable is plugged into the ASIAIR Pro USB socket in accordance with the instructions on page 7 of the ASIAIR Pro User Manual V1.2.

At the first screen (with the green ENTER button) of the ASIAIR Pro the MOUNT pull-down listing does not contain the EQMOD Mount, instead it contains only the four other Mounts that I mentioned in my original message. Therefore, no way to select the EQMOD Mount.

No idea where those four mounts in the listing came from, as I do not have any of them nor have I tried to use the ASIAIR Pro with any other mounts.

Well, blow me down!
Who knew that the MOUNT pull-down menu was scrollable??
Since that discovery, I can now scroll to the EQMod Mount selection and enable the mount!
Such a simple fix, now that we know the list is scrollable!
One little gem that could be made more obvious in the GUI design.

scopeboy Hopefully you get this and can help me out. I am having the same issue with the same gear. I’m using the USB A-B cable that came with the ASI533 to connect the ASIAIR PRO with the AZ-EQ6 with no success. What cable did you use that made it work?
