I have recently began using my ASIair pro for astro photography. I have noticed I have been large spikes in guiding.
My mount is the A-P Mach 2 GTO. because this mount has Absolute Encoders there should not be 4 second jumps in guiding. I noticed the spikes happen just after an image is taken and the file is loading.
Once I determined it appears to be Dithering after an exposure I checked my settings and found the slider was off. I turned the slider on and began to get the word dithering next to the spike occasionally. When I turn it off I still get the spikes but the word dithering is no longer next to the spike again.
Could you please check this out, and correct the behavior. The stars in the image have a little spike unless a delay before the next exposure is set up for ASIimage. In live mode, I have not found a way to set a delay after an image.
Thank You.
