I am not sure if this is similar to a problem I have been having. I just got a brand new ASIAIR Pro a couple weeks ago and have not been able to get it working at all.
I have not been able to make a backup SD card that works to boot the device on either windows or Mac. I have tried backing up the original card, as well as using the restore download process outlined, but I feel like I am probably doing something wrong. I just have not had any help or assistance/guidance.
I never tried to boot my brand new ASIAIR Pro before attempting to back up the micro SD so I don’t know if it ever would have worked, but I have not been able to get past a firmware update error that I always get.
I wrote support an email on Dec 20 and then again on Dec 26 but have not heard back at all as of Dec 29.
I bought a suite of ZWO products including a cooled camera, guide camera, filter wheel, guide scope, and ASIAIR Pro with the hope of ease of use/wireless connectivity.
I am running out of patience with this myself.
