Is this a dex issue ?

Hi all,

First of all, let me wish you a happy New Year 2021, and more especially good health !

I'm taking advantage of a very loooong period of inactivity due to poor weather in France.

I've started to process my images taken earlier this summer and autumn, and started with the latest.

However, I was horrified to find out that all my sessions were to be thrown in the garbage !

Here 's under what I found out for most of them :-(

Some people told me that it's very likely to be dew on my 294 MC Pro sensor window or on the filter of my OAG.

My setup is a newton SW 200/1000 on an AZ-EQ6 GT Pro and I'm using a Zwo OAG, a SW f4 GPU coma corrector, a Zwo filter drawer with a 2'' Optolong L-Pro filter and my two cameras, my 294 MC Pro and my 290 Mini.

I wrapped my tube with a thick 6mm cut-out gymnastic mat covered with a thin aluminim protection and it did the trick regarding both primary and secodnary mirors, but I didn't anticpate this issue with my opitcal train !

My cameras are fairly recent, they were bought a year ago.

Some people told me that maybe my desscicants tablets are to be replaced.

As this is tricky to replace all that, I would like to be sure firsthand !

I consider buying a dew heater strip as sold by Zwo instead of the tablets, would it be enough, if my isue is definitely related to dew ?

What do you mean with "did you set calibration with th flat frames" ?

If you mean did I use flats for my image, yes, indeed.
I used 40 flat images done with a Lacerta box 0,05 sec at 75% of the histogram as advised).
There's apparently no problem according to friends on a french astronomy forum where i also posted this question and uploaded the master flat.
I'm currently using Siril, the latest version available, to process my photos (usually around 100 for the lights and about 40 for DOFs).
