Minimum iPad requirements for ASIAir Pro v1.5 + ASI2400MC

Hi, I am loving my ASIAir Pro and using it with my iPhone 11 to image with my ZWO ASI2400MC. The only issue is that the iPhone screen is rather small.

I was looking to upgrade to an iPad, and got a second hand iPad 4. Unfortunately the time taken to load the image to the iPad 4 screen is very long (approx 20-30secs) and I will need to use a more modern iPad.

Can anyone tell me what the minimum requirements are for an iPad to work with the ASIAir Pro/full frame chip?

I don't really want to go to the expense of an iPad Pro if I don't have to - it will only be used for running the ASIAir app.

The full resolution of 2400 is 6072*4042
The iPhone 11 runs 2400（in full resolution） very smoothly, right？IF so，recommend the ipad with similar cpu to the iPhone11，in addition，Android pad is also a good choice

Thank you. Looks like an iPad Pro with the A12 or A14 chip would be the "safe" bet.

I have the iPad Pro 2018 and it struggled a bit with ASIAir and SkySafari apps running at the same time. I was thinking of the new Pro, but found a good price on the iPad Air 2020 and snagged that, which runs like a charm.

The Pro has the A12 which is better at multitasking (more cores), the A14 is faster on a straight line let’s call it. Both will get the job done.
