ASIAIR Pro SkyWatcher Mount AZ SynScan

Dear developers,

you have developed a great product with the ASIAIR Pro.
I own the ASIAIR Pro and the AZ SynScan Mount from Skywatcher. The hand control is the SynScan V5 with USB connection.
The connection from the ASIAIR Pro to the mount is unfortunately only possible via "SkyWatcher Virtuoso Alt-Az" or "SkyWatcher Alt-Az Wedge". The tracking setting is not available on both of these mounts. No connection can be established to any other SkyWatcher model.
Will there be better support in future updates of the ASIAIR Pro?

I installed the beta version now but none of the SkyWatcher SynScan telescope drivers work.
The hand controller SynScan V5 is connected with a USB device cable.
SkySafari Plus can work immediately with the settings "SkyWatcher Synscan" and "Alt-Azimuth GoTo".
In the ASIAIR app I have to work with Celestron NexStar 5i / 8i, but that can't be?

I have tested all Skywatcher settings. Celestron's only. My mount is an AZ Goto from Skywatcher as shown in the picture. The hand control is SYNSCAN V5.

I bought the ASIAIR Pro because I had the compatibility confirmed on their website. See Appendix.

I found the solution!

Commissioning sequence:

Switch on the mount without ASIAIR Pro connection.
Carry out a two-star alignment with the hand control until the end
Connect the hand control to the ASIAIR Pro with the USB cable
Start the ASIAIR app, connect via the telescope driver "Skywatcher SynScan Beta"
All controls are now available via the ASIAIR app

Thank you, @hjnet , for detailed steps. Your post enabled me to connect my Alt-Az mount (Synscan HC) with ASIAir plu.

However, I came across another issue. Goto with auto-center keeps failing. Goto takes my scope within 0.5 ~ 1 degrees of a target object. However, subsequent plate-solve (it works well) and centering never brings the scope closer to the target.

With SW Synscan Beta, the distance is even farther than SW Synsscan .

@hjnet, does goto + auto-centering work for you?

My telescope is Orion XT10G with Synscan HC v4.
