AAP seems to allow Ethernet/IP connections to many mounts but I can't work out what protocols are supported. Specifically I'm hoping since it appears to use INDI drivers that it will connect remotely to other INDI servers. I can't seem to get that to work, however.
Where can I find a list of what mounts are supported via Ethernet connections and via what protocols (e.g. proprietary solutions vs INDI)?
I'm trying to do this so I can eliminate another potential cable snag between the scope/cameras and the mount (e.g. when doing a meridian flip). I have a Raspberry Pi that I used before I got my AAP which can connect to and control my mount, which is a Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pro. I can successfully connect that to my mount and control it via any other INDI client (e.g. KStars).
However, I can't seem to get AAP to recognize it by providing the IP and port for the INDI server to it. I've tried using the "EQMod Mount" and several models of Sky-Watcher mount on the AAP with no success.
Does AAP support connecting to INDI servers?
