Hi all - I'm hoping someone can help point me in the right direction.
I recently purchased an ASIAIR Pro (now fully powered thanks to previous help here!).
I've got it connected to:
Williams Optics Z61 II
ZWO 120mm Mini guide scope + camera
Ioptron Skyguider Pro
Nikon D7500 DSLR
I got 50 3min exposures of Andromeda last night and was very keen to start the stacking/editing.
The ASIAIR pro had recorded and downloaded the images in a '.FIT's format which photoshop won't open. However Deep Sky Stacker does open - however they look AWFUL in DSS. They are green tinged and seem to lack detail and I'm unable to stack them as DSS can't detect any stars!
They do however look OK when viewed from the ASIAIR pro APP.
I have googled this and came across the FITS liberator program from NASA - this will open them but again looks like detail is missing or something.
Any advice on what to do to process them correctly appreciated or articles/books to learn myself !
