Color Camera, Greyscale Images

When I load the FIT images captured by my ASI533MC into Pixinsight (trial license), it appears they are only being recognized as greyscale images, and when I try to run post-processing on them that involves color, I get an error message. I don't see anything in the ASIAir Pro screens that looks like it would toggle whether the camera is shooting in greyscale or color. Any thoughts on what I should be doing differently? As far as I can tell, it shouldn't be a limitation of the PI license, as the language says the trial is a fully functional version. Thanks for any suggestions.

After looking at PI more closely, I think I just figured out I was missing a step. There's an operation to "convert to RGB color" (as well as one to convert to greyscale), which, after doing that, the image now says it's RGB. Still seems odd I would have to go through that step, but that may be just what I was missing.
