Hi I’m using the Asiair 2600 and Asiair Pro. There doesn’t seem to be any way to control the integrated dew heater on the cameras sensor, just on or off. I guess that being on fully for the whole imaging session might not be a good idea, plus it probably uses a lot of power.
I saw a thread dated December 2019 in which ZWO said they were planning to introduce some sort of means of control within the Asiair app at some point. Is there any news on when this might be? In the meantime how would ZWO suggest we use the sensor heater.
On for how long?
Turn it on occasionally?
If it’s on for too long could it damage the sensor?
