ASI Airpro with AP Mach2GTO and GTOCP5

I am using the ASI airpro with latest firmware and app. I am unable to fine the option to pair it with the AP Mach2 GTO via wifi which uses the latest GTOCP5 controller box. Any Advice?

I have been using the ASIAIR Pro with my A-P Mach2 for several months now. I am curious as to why USB or Serial RS 232 connection is not suitable for you? What benefit do you seek using WiFi.

I connect the ASIair Pro to the CP5 box using the thru the mount USB cable which does not require added cables.

Tonight I installed an Airport express next to my Mach2 and tested the working of the ASIair Pro. The communications between my home Network and the ASIair Pro responds very well. I have the Mount connected to the ASIair Pro using a RS232 cable using the thru the mount USB cable. I then connected a ethernet Cat 5 cable between the Airport express RJ45 port and the ASIair Pro. The Cat 5 cable is not able to be run thru the mount however when I connected my M1 Mac mini to the ASIair Pro which is located in the house about 50 ft away from the Mach2 the response to all the commands to the ASIair were great. The feedback from the ASIair to my computer were without delay. The next thing I need to do is get a camera to see the Mach2, which way it is pointing and to be able to monitor its movements.

I have tried using the ASI airpro connected to the MAch2 (encoder version) via a usb cable with the app on an Ipad. It works intermittently and there seems to be certain positions of RA that it is unable to go to. Also "gohome'" has not worked. I use it without the Ap keypad so as not to confuse the mount with initialisation from 2 different sources. I have also tried with the keypad set to (EXT) as advised by AP. do you have a similar experience?

Have you a home network and tried running ASIair in station mode?

it Works very well when you are not depending on the weak signal of the ASIair Pro.

No as I image away from home. I have the WiFi extender that ZWO sells. It works well and the signal is very good. Downloads are also fast. However, I still get the problems highlighted above, I am not sure if it is because I did not use the PA function of the app. I cannot use the PA function as I live only 1.2 degrees north of the equator. the PA routine ends up moving the scope to below the horizon.
When the app tries to move it to the extremes of RA, these seems to be a sort of hard stop. Once it hits it , everything goes haywire and all the "synch" data seems loss and pointing goes off with the Goto. Otherwise, Goto is spot on. Not sure if it is something that has got to do with having the encoders.
