Hi, I have recently purchased a ASIair pro and asi533 osc camera and the 120mm mini guide cam. The problem is the airpro will not connect to the mount. I have the 9 pin plug connected to the 9 pin plug that came with the pro. The usb end connected to the usb 2 on the pro. the ioptron rj9 is connected to the rj9 on the hand controller. The HC plugged into the mount. Power on the pro, flashes, beeps, then I log onto the wifi from the pro. great. start the app on my Samsung 10 tablet, select the Ioptron zeq25 with 8408 from the drop down menu. 9600 baud rate, ( tried 115300 baud as well) and it says serial Not found. could not connect. checked everything 100 times, I have spent hours researching this on line. So much confusing info on various forums! Some people say they have no problem, many like me are getting frustrated to the Nth degree. Is the air pro cable , the usb to serial cable basically the EQmod cable? I even tried to connect a rs232c between the two 9 pin dmb plugs. to see if the data leds flash when trying to connect.
if I need a cable why does the manual not state that. I just invested $2000 on ZWO equipment. I did not expect this much problem setting it up. Please help me.
