I wanted to order one from Cloud Break Optics, but they said the EAF was under redesign, switching from a 12 V to a 5V motor; and they don't expect stock of the new design for several weeks. I read the same thing on the Cloudy Nights equipment forum. So, my question is, if the motor takes 5V, is that what you have to supply the unit, or will it internally down-convert from the standard 12V?
