Is it possible to use the 6200 in APS-C mode? I have a mini-PC I use (not ASIAIR) for my mount, is this just a config option in the ASCOM driver settings? What is the chip size reduced to (full frame is 36x24, does it go down to 17x13 or 13x 8 or? Does the file size get reduced when switching to APS-C mode? Also, I use both SharpCap (pro) and Sequence Generator Pro and I'd like to understand how I could switch between full frame and APS-C with that solution with the 6200 full frame cameras.
The reason I'm posting, I don't see any information about this capability on your web page for the cameras, or in the manuals you provide for download online - but, I'm hearing from this capability in online forums like cloudynights that folks are able to do this - I just don't understand the how/what the capability is and which products support it (ASCOM? Required ASIAIR or can I use my own PC?)
Thank you.
