Please help,
I switched from a dslr camera to the asi533 one shot color camera. I am using sharpcap pro on a windows 10 laptop. . I have the camera set to capture Raw 16 and save captures as FITS files. I have downloaded a fits reader. I keep reading in cloudy nights ETC that the unity gain on my camera should be 100 and the offset 50. 1.) where do I input those values. Sharpcap only has a gain setting. I have looked in Ascom and have not found anywhere to into those values.
Am I missing a driver or software somewhere or do I really need to worry about this Unity gain and offset issue. I want to pull the most data I can with this camera. Once a sequence is captured, I will stack in Deep Sky Stacker, and finalize in Gimp. Please drop me a line.
