oaCapture & FireCapture won't connect to ASI120mm mini on Mac High Sierra

I'm relatively new at this and am hoping to try out different software with my recently acquired ASI120mm mini. I have a 2011 MacBook Pro running High Sierra and neither FireCapture nor oaCapture will connect to the ASI120mm. ASICap, AstroImager and PHD2 2.6.8 32-bit all will connect successfully.

Anyone have any ideas?

For what it's worth, oaCapture works when installed on my iMac running Big Sur, but FireCapture does not.

I did try ASIstudio after posting my question yesterday; stumbled on it while looking for solutions. It works fine. Neither oaCapture nor FireCapture work on my MacBook Pro, which is what I use when at the telescope.

The camera is ok. I think the cause of this issue is not from us.

I'm sure it's not the camera. Was just hoping someone could provide some input on getting it to work on my old MacBook Pro with ocCapture and FireCapture. I have alternatives (ASIStudio & AstroImager), but wanted to try all the available MacOS software to see which I prefer.
