Factory Reset your HC, I personally have to do this EVERY time I setup with my CGX & AAP.
In general, Celestron mounts are not compatible with AAP yet. Very few people have consistent success with this combination. you'll have good nights and bad nights with this combination. it's been raised a lot to ZWO they have acknowledged they are looking into it, not sure if/when we'll see a fix. the new Beta release notes don't mention any fix for Celestron mounts yet.
I Recommend, submitting the feedback in ASIair with the logs every time you have an issue so they can see the volume of Celestron mount users with issues, and give them the data they need to troubleshoot it.
BTW - that pop up message is static/generic - ignore what it's saying... it's basically a connection failure
I'd bet your problem is a bad USB cable. pretty much any cheap cable off Amazon won't work. you need to get a quality cable, not spend a lot,, like $8.00 but those cheapies on Amazon come pre-broken. in my experience, the AAP is never the issue for a connection, it's always the cable.
