I'm taking darks for my new ZWO ASI2600MM. At gain 100 there are strange 'eagle' shaped artifacts (see image below) that I'm not able to understand.
Take in consideration that:
- They are on the master (80 subs) and on all frames as well. Master is on the left in the image, single frame on the right.
- It depends on gain, gain 100 shows the defects while zero gain doesn't.
- other parameters don't affect the result (exposure duration, offset and temperature): they all show the same pattern. Of course longer exposures show more intense artifact.
- They are always in the same position on all images.
- Tested by friends on their ASI2600 cameras don't show such defects.
- Darks are taken inside my home at night: Ambient temp is around 15-20 C. Low light in the room.
Thanks for your help.
