About the asi120mm/mc and the 2.1mm lens

Hi,

I'm amazed with the results people are achieving with the ZWO cameras and I plan to buy one for both planetary astrophotography and meteor hunting, but I have some questions.

Does the 2.1mm lens have any kind of IR cut inside?. Or it's achromat and transmits the IR radiation?.

Does it really use the 12bits, or it saves the images in 8 bit format?

Does it have binning?

no IR cut.

12bit usually is useless

it support 2X2 binning
