I retested last night. I performed two slews, took a test image, plate solve then sync to mount, at least 5° away from NCP, one to the East an one to the West and PA went through it's process. Next session I'll just try one slew. I can live with this workaround. I don't know why ASIAir gets confused if you don't do the slews before PA. I know ASIAR can't sync to mount while at the NCP.
