Chip question

Hello Sam and felllow ASI-users,

I recieved my camera about two months ago and I´m quite satisfied with it. Still I´m wondering, which optical sensor it has exactly. Latest product description says, it´s the AR0130CS, but I slightly recall a former announcement saying that this chip was a replacement for a previous one. Since there is no serial number on the casing, how can I determine what sensor I´ve got inside my camera?

Why was the MC´s sensor replaced anyway?

Hi Chris

we replace the MT9M034 sensor with AR0130CS from the very start.

because AR0130CS is a little more sensetive.

all you guys' color camera should be AR0130CS.
