Hi folks,
I'm testing my new 178MC but can't seem to get it to 60fps on full resolution. I'm using SharpCap and RGB24. In preview I get 33fps maximum and when capturing this drops to 20fps.
My laptop specs are: i7, 8GB, SSD with plenty of space, USB 3. The write test in SharpCap shows over 450Mb/s so that's not the issue. I tested the speed of the USB 3 port by transferring 20MB files (24x3096x2080) to an external SSD and got an even higher speed.
With RAW format in ASICAP the fps is even lower than 20fps.
Someone with the same camera I "spoke" to got the same results.
Is there any way to get to the 60fps as advertised?
